Love Of GOD
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves have been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love is not from God. God is love.
Let us walk in faith and in love by telling others what they did not know. We did not love but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Since God so loved us, we ought to love one another. If we love one another God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Let us meditate on these words:
1 Cor. 13 : 4
Love is patient,
Love is kind,
Love doesn't envy,
Love does not boast,
It is not proud,
It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no records of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
It rejoices in the truth,
It always protects,
It always trusts,
It always hope,
It always perseveres,
It does not fails.
If we love, there is nothing our other friends needs that will not be met.
Let us take this case study of the early Church. They do these things in love and the needs of others are met equally. No one knows whether one is not having any. They sold their property and brought it to Apostles' feet. May the Lord help us in our generation in Jesus name.
